A fruity, double-distilled single malt made with Australian barley and craft beer yeast for added flavor. The casks are lightly charred or steamed, sourced from Australian vineyards making excellent shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. Matured in Melbourne's extremely varied climate for three years.
Nose: Hwayo Single Grain reveals delicate, subtle aromas of cereal, vanilla and ripe fruit. Gentle notes of honey and caramel complete the aromatic bouquet.
Mouth: On the palate, this whisky reveals rich, complex flavors of toasted cereals, hazelnuts and juicy pears. The texture is silky and velvety, offering a most pleasurable taste experience.
