Unchill-filtered for a richer, sweeter taste, the color and strength of this whisky changes with each bottling, so that no two bottlings are ever the same.
This bottling is dedicated to the Swiss physician, naturalist, humanist, polyhistorian and encyclopedist Conrad Gessner (1516-1565). In his book 'The History of Four Foot Beats and Serpents', Gessner described and drew the mythical animal Seawolf on page 580. The distillery's current logo is taken from Conrad Gessner's notes.
