This Bruichladdich is extremely creamy, maritime and bright. Full of power and peppery, waxy texture, it shows the robustness of Islay whisky without the peat. And it's a true island single malt, evocative and beautifully coastal and mineral.

Nose: Mac-Talla Strata 15 Year Old reveals smoky, marine aromas, with hints of peat and salt.
Feel: On the palate, this single malt offers spicy, woody flavors, balanced by hints of honey and dried fruit.
Finish: The finish is long and lingering, leaving notes of oak and vanilla on the palate.

Nose: Great complexity with notes of oats and peat. Fruit (melon, peach and lemon), lovely woody notes with nutmeg and cinnamon.

Mouth: Notes of citrus, ripe sweet fruit (apricot and melon), salt, iodine and smoke. A little caramel and tobacco.

Finish: Elegant on fruit, oak with a hint of barbecue smoke.

Nose: Overall dry, vinous impression supported by spicy, woody notes. Seductive aromas of tart red berries, vanilla, a hint of wax. A little water softens the nose and relaxes the aroma, without much alteration.

Mouth: Ultra-unctuous, gourmet texture. Barley sugar, pinch of salt, suggestions of currant and crunchy grape. At reduced strength, it's not as tart, but still spicy; the sweetness is enhanced but the mouth-watering spicy heat remains.

Finish: Long and dry with pepper and mild spice. With milder water, now with a trace of fondant in the aftertaste.
