The Mossburn team has specialized in blending and bottling for almost 30 years. Mossburn is known for its range of Vintage Casks whisky, including its Scotch Island and Speyside blended malts.
In 2013, the Torabhaig project was launched by Mossburn and began with the renovation of the old farmhouse in the village of the same name. After four years of restoration and modernization, Torabhaig has been a fully operational malt distillery since January 2017.

Nose: This whisky reveals notes of ripe fruit, honey and vanilla, with a hint of oak. Mouth: On the palate, we find flavors of caramelized apples, cinnamon and walnuts, for a rich, balanced sensory experience. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving soft notes of dried fruit and toasted cereals on the palate, for an unforgettable tasting experience.
N: Clean, peppery and fruity. Specific notes of orange peel, waxy lemon zest, heather and various beers and crystallized exotic fruits. Water enhances the fruity and floral aspects and brings a wonderful freshness.
B: Powerful, brilliantly fruity, spicy and full of yellow plums, lemon peel, honey and pressed wild flowers. Notes of exotic fruit tea and wood spices. Water once again enhances the sweet, fresh qualities.
F: Nice length, on honey, flowers, mead, a touch of wax and notes of dried exotic fruit.
Nose: Sweet, with a pronounced aroma of ripe red apples, honey, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.
Mouth: Gourmet, with a creamy, smooth texture. As the whisky opens, notes of citrus zest, cinnamon and dried apple appear.
