PEAT is the perfect expression of smoky whisky, with all the coastal character you'd expect from an island whisky, as well as a balanced sweetness.

a handful of distilleries have been chosen from across the island to create an Islay blended malt, taking the distinct character of each and bringing them together to celebrate peat.

Nose: Ripe, juicy pears, waves of peat and oak smoke.


Mouth: Tart, sweet, green apple, biscuity caramel note.


Finish: Long on sea salt and cold smoke.

Nose: Ballechin 10 Year Old reveals rich notes of vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit, with a subtle hint of smoke.
Palate: On the palate, this whisky stands out for its powerful flavors of oak, honey and spices, underlined by nuances of peat and black pepper.
Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate and burnt wood.

Nose: Caol Ila's Port Askaig 100 proof offers intense aromas of smoke, peat and salt, typical of Islay whiskies.

Taste: On the palate, this 8-year-old single malt reveals powerful flavors of peat, dried fruit and marine notes, with a hint of black pepper.

Finish: The finish of this 57% alcohol whisky is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of peat and salt on the palate, for an intense and complex taste experience.

Nose: Notes of peat smoke, heather and sea salt with a powerful sweetness.

Mouth: Apple compote, vanilla cream and pears in syrup, a hint of fresh menthol.

Finish: Long, with a hint of black pepper, sweet, herbal smoke finishing on tarry peat.

Color: Rich golden amber

Nose: Warm, welcoming notes of guava and coconut, sugar-coated almonds, apricots and a touch of citrus

Finish: Sweet vanilla, fudge, layers of mango, banana and guava, with a finish of sweet cinnamon spice

Caribbean rum barrels

Nose: Sweet cinnamon and maple. A seductive attack, followed by notes of cocoa powder, cranberry and blackcurrant.

Palate: On the palate, red fruit notes dominate, accompanied by subtle hints of strawberry chewing gum, caramel pudding and blackberries.

Finish: The finish reveals a hint of hazelnut and nutty aromas.

Nose: Notes of delicate orange lead followed by touches of apricot and popcorn lending sweetness to the maritime seaweed that echoes in the glass. Subtle pipe tobacco adds to the elegant smokiness and is rounded out by honey, vanilla and boiled sweets. 

Palate: Light and zesty oak spice is joined by the rich and sweet bonfire smokiness that is so unmistakably Torabhaig spirit. Subtly waxy with hints of honey and vanilla balancing sea salt and seaweed that ebbs away to white pepper and sweet spice. 

Finish: Like a sunset over the Sound of Sleat, this is lingering and elegant with notes of honey, storms and the ocean.
