The Original Ten is the epitome of the sweet, fruity, complex character that is the distillery's identity. Inspired by the rich flavours and extraordinary texture of the first single malt to emerge from Benriach in 1994. The Original Ten is a skilful blend of three whiskies aged for at least ten years in first-fill bourbon, sherry and oak casks.
Nose: Deacon The reveals subtle aromas of ripe fruit and sweet cereals. Feel: On the palate, this whisky offers notes of honey, vanilla and toasted oak, for a creamy, balanced feel. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving a light touch of smoke and spice on the palate.
