Roseisle's second expression, fine and well-refined, with well-integrated aromas and mesmerizing flavors that defy the complexity of its marriage of three spirits in distinct cask types. Matured in ex-bourbon first-fill casks and second-fill casks to allow all the flavors to blossom.
Nose: Ardbeg Smokiverse offers intense aromas of peat smoke, sea salt and medicinal notes typical of Islay whiskies. Mouth: On the palate, this single malt reveals powerful, complex flavors of peat, black pepper, licorice and dried fruit, accompanied by an oily texture and a touch of vanilla. Finish: The finish is long and persistent, giving way to notes of peat smoke, burnt oak and citrus zest.
Nose: Longmorn G&M DistillersLab.08/23 reveals complex aromas of ripe fruit, vanilla, honey and sweet cereals. Feel: On the palate, this 15-year-old single malt offers a silky texture with notes of baked apples, toffee, sweet spices and a touch of oak. Finish: The finish is long and warm, giving way to notes of candied fruit and cinnamon.
Nose: A combination of malty notes, barley husks and smoked peanut skins with burnt toast, smoked raspberries and blackcurrant. There’s a hint of antiseptic as well, accompanied by burlap and just a tinge of cordite.
Taste: Charred meat, a hint of spent matches and cherry liqueur, as well as cured meats and black pepper. Touches of redcurrants and fresh rubber, as well as streaky bacon, wood smoke and smoke paprika powder.
Finish: Medium to long. More pepper, decent salinity and definitely more rubber
Nose: Sweet, slightly vinous, lightly acidic fruitiness reminiscent of green currants, mellows to creamy vanilla fondant.
Mouth: Sweet, ultra-creamy and rich. Notes of vanilla ice cream, spices and fruit. The sweetness lingers throughout.
Finish: Quite long, richly sweet and slightly spicy, with a peppery warmth.
