Nose: Johnnie Walker Double Black offers intense aromas of smoke, peat and vanilla, typical of Scotch whiskies. Feel: On the palate, there are notes of dried fruit, black pepper and dark chocolate, with a rich, velvety texture. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of peat and burnt wood on the palate.
Nose : Approachable and rich. First polished wood and nuts (toasted hazelnut) dominate, then stewed fruits (baked apples), dried fruits (sweet dates), and soft brown sugar take over. Mossy too, after a while.
Palate : Sweetness and crunchy nuts impress at first, then there’s a smooth, fruity Speyside richness to enjoy. Firm, with a balancing sweetness. Brown sugar and espresso coffee. Warming and pleasant.
Finish : Medium to long, elegantly drying and crisp, completed by a pleasant, sweetly nutty chew-ability.
Nose: Characteristic Tullibardine bourbon notes of vanilla, caramel, cream soda, sweet nectar, and oak intertwine with layers of dried fruit and warming spice.
Palate: Balancing the indulgent nose, there’s more spices to be found of nutmeg, cinnamon and candied ginger cushioned with a hint of brown sugar.
Finish: Spice on the palate mellows, the finish is smooth and buttery.
