Nose : A bold, phenolic nose with smouldering peat, wood ash and hints of soap and plaster. Maritime notes evoke rock pools, lobster pots, fresh scallops and oyster shells.
Palate: Smooth and lightly oily in texture. The robust, sweet taste exudes dried fruit character, savoury-spicy and salty, developing powerfully smoky hints of peat.
Finish: Long, drying and lightly smoky, with lingering salt and a peat aftertaste.

Quantity

Flames dance through tradition in this Lagavulin 12-year-old expression, matured in refill casks and Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso-seasoned European oak butts.
