Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving a sensation of candied fruit and dark chocolate on the palate.
Nose: Overall dry, vinous impression supported by spicy, woody notes. Seductive aromas of tart red berries, vanilla, a hint of wax. A little water softens the nose and relaxes the aroma, without much alteration.
Mouth: Ultra-unctuous, gourmet texture. Barley sugar, pinch of salt, suggestions of currant and crunchy grape. At reduced strength, it's not as tart, but still spicy; the sweetness is enhanced but the mouth-watering spicy heat remains.
Finish: Long and dry with pepper and mild spice. With milder water, now with a trace of fondant in the aftertaste.
Nose : Mild, dry and slightly cooling. Top notes of lychees and mangosteens, backed by pineapple and melon. Beneath is a chalky mineral note lending dryness. Palate : A creamy-smooth texture evokes Clynelish’s familiar keynote waxiness. Starts lightly sweet and slightly sharp, with tropical fruit character. Finish : Medium to long, spicy and warming, with a lingering, freshly fruity aftertaste. With a dash of water, it becomes sweeter and lightly spicy.
Nose: Tart notes of lime and sweet peaches. Explosion of rich smoky fruit and baked bread, throat pastilles, creosote and anise. Sweet barley malt combines with nutmeg and peat smoke.
Mouth: Rich, sweet, aromatic and fruity, baked banana bread and syrupy sponge pudding fill the senses. Notes of molasses mingle with a distinctive whiff of burning cedarwood. A drop of water releases an abundance of tropical fruit. Eucalyptus oil mingles with sweet, aromatic smoke.
Finish: The influence of those rare Madeira casks is undeniable. A whimsical, smoky finish welcomes a long, lingering aftertaste of menthol, clove, wood smoke and camphor.
