Smooth, slightly fruity, well-balanced, with just a hint of smoke. This herbaceous, floral single malt whisky is a fine example of Speyside 'Top Class'.
Nose: Sweet and dry. Slightly maritime, sea breeze, oyster shells, earthy and mineral with sphagnum moss. A little water develops the maritime notes and calms the spices.
Mouth: Unctuous, with a creamy texture, powerful, sweet at the start and salty in the middle, mineral and an abundance of peppery spices. A fruity touch of apple and pear.
Finish: Long with lots of spice, Sichuan pepper that intensifies with a little water.
