The hallmark of Toiteach A Dhà comes from a greater sherry influence, unlike its predecessor Toiteach. Perfectly distilled and matured under ideal conditions, this special edition offers connoisseurs the chance to taste something unique and seductive.
Toiteach A Dha is a cuvée composed of 90% 40 ppm peated malt and 10% unpeated malted barley, unlike its predecessor Toiteach with which contained a 50/50% proportion.
Nose: This single malt from Islay reveals delicate smoke mingling with sea spray, with citrus fruit quickly to the fore. Mouth: The peat is evident, unfurling a dry smoke that envelops orange biscuit flavours. Finis: With its pastry-like texture, is reminiscent of a lemon meringue pie that becomes subtly ashy. A whisky that is both fresh and deeply peaty.
Nose: Glendullan Singleton 14 Year Old reveals notes of ripe fruit, honey and vanilla. Feel: On the palate, this whisky reveals flavors of dried fruit, caramel and toasted oak. Finish: The finish is long and warm, with hints of walnut and cinnamon.
