The whisky is gently matured in the finest, specially selected American oak casks until bottled. The distinctive nose presents notes of vanilla oak, subtle hints of sea spray and spicy fruit.
Nose: Rich, earthy, smoky and spicy, with a marvellous combination of toffee, tar and creosote, coffee grounds and sea spray. Mouth: The texture is mouth filling and noticeably spicy, and the palate is surprised by an immediate and intense sweetness, reminiscent of smoked cinnamon and paprika. Finish: The aftertaste is mentholic and almost cooling, with hints of eucalyptus and antiseptic lozenges.
Nose: An Cnoc Peatheart reveals smoky, peaty notes, with hints of citrus and vanilla. Feel: On the palate, this whisky reveals complex flavors of peat, dried fruit and caramel, complemented by spicy and floral notes. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving a soft, smoky mouthfeel.
Valeirano shows surprising minerality, underpinned by incredible structure. There are hints of tea leaf and balsamic notes on the nose and palate. The finish is intense and the tannins are very fine.
Nose: Sweet, citrus, ginger, apricots, fruit salad.
Mouth: Complex, ripe fruit, caramel and wood notes, well balanced.
