First released in 2014, the Ballechin 10 Year Old is the first official release for Edradour's peated malt, following the eight releases of The Discovery series.
Nose: Glendullan Singleton 14 Year Old reveals notes of ripe fruit, honey and vanilla. Feel: On the palate, this whisky reveals flavors of dried fruit, caramel and toasted oak. Finish: The finish is long and warm, with hints of walnut and cinnamon.
Nose: Subtle aromas of ripe fruit and vanilla emerge delicately. Mouth: A rich, creamy texture, with notes of cereal and caramel. Finish: A soft, lingering finish, leaving a light spicy touch on the palate.
Nose:Deliciously malty, butterscotch candy followed by citrus and woody vanilla aromas, layered with spicy woody notes of ginger and cinnamon. Mouth:Candied orange and lemon zest, vanilla and butterscotch, flower honey, melted brown sugar and woody spices. Finish:Rich and malty, with sweet aromas of woody vanilla and subtle spices.
Nose: Herbaceous and sweet with pronounced notes of peat.
Mouth: Complex with notes of oak and spice and earthy smoke.
