Jimmy Russell gave his name to this bourbon. No cask is allowed to be bottled without his approval. Master distiller Jimmy Russell and his son, associate master distiller Eddie Russell, select only a few casks for this bourbon. All the casks chosen come from the center cut of the winery. This 'small batch bourbon' is aged for at least ten years in heavily charred casks using the 'alligator' method. This is what gives it its deep color and intense taste.
