Palate: On the palate, this Scottish single malt is smooth and balanced, with flavors of honey, spice and toasted oak, offering a complex and refined taste experience.

Finish: The finish of KinGassie 8 Year Old D.Matured is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of dried fruit, hazelnut and toffee, for a tasting experience full of character and finesse.

Nose: Pungent peat smoke. Phenolic with a little coastal breeze.

Mouth: Beautiful soft peat, a little iodine and sea salt, hints of vanilla and a little spice.

Finish: Length with big waves of smoke. Fantastic.

Nose: Moist Corinth raisins and sweet dates. Cinnamon, dark chocolate, and enveloped in subtle smoke.

Mouth: Cedarwood, treacle toffee, boiled sweet confectionery, clove spice and liquorice root.

Finish: Intriguingly rich and wooded, revealing contented sweet spice.

Nose: Walnut, marine influences (seaweed) followed by caramel notes and leather.

Mouth: Impressive aromas of sweet sherry, caramelized walnuts, and soft oak notes.

Finish: Dry and spicy, slightly salty with Sherry.

Nose: Sweet and delicate, a little spicy and deeply exotic. Viney, suggesting white grapes and Manzanilla sherry, then becomes lush, floral and fruity. A hint of vanilla caramel gradually appears. A drop of water lifts the citrus notes and adds hints of sweet caramel.

Mouth: The texture is soft and creamy, the taste is slightly sweet and fruity. It then becomes more lively, with acidity and spicy, peppery, drying tannins. A drop of water initially brings out the fruitiness without diminishing the spice.

Finish: Medium to long, finishing on a dry, tongue-tingling, warmly spicy note with fruity acidity and a pinch of white pepper.

Nose: Aromas of caramel, tropical fruit and cinnamon. Mouth: Flavors of dark berries, cocoa and coffee.

nose : Blooming heather and distant bonfire smoke. Soft notes of barley sugar and freshly baked bread are brightened with hints of lemon zest and green apple peel, underpinned by delicate florals. Peat smoke is present but restrained.

palate : A symphony of honeyed malt, toasted grain and a distinctive earthiness greet the palate. Orchard fruits, citrus and a touch of vanilla sweetness follow, whilst delicate threads of smoke and salinity weave through the malt, providing a gentle counterpoint to heather and coconutty gorse.

finish : A medium-length finish of sweet barley, accompanied by subtle floral notes, which give way to the gentle smokiness of a beach bonfire. Citrus and a touch of minerality linger on.

We have the pleasure in presenting both the finished whisky and the final sherry in this limited edition of Whisky Meets Sherry. This whisky has drawn incredible influences and as a result showcases a range of dried and exotic fruits with cocoa and nutty notes. It is silky smooth and slightly drying in the finish.
