Nose: Fruity with notes of sweet spices, toffee and a hint of saltiness.

Mouth: Round and soft. Toffee, stewed fruit, sweet and spicy at the same time.

Finish: Soft, saline and pleasant.

Taste: Molasses syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts, Cream soda.

Finish: Long with a lovely lingering note of orange and beeswax.

Tequila Cask Terminado



Terminado brings together Smokehead Islay single malt with tequila. It's the meeting of two restless spirits - and the awakening of a mesmerising whisky.

There, in this tequila cask finish, fiery peat awakes with wild agave. Smoke mixes with chewy meringue. And citrus spins with sweetness. You ain't tasted nothing like this before.

Nose: Mild vanilla, sweet, a touch of ginger, mulled wine and pear.

Mouth: Rich and creamy, oak, Sherry, fullness in the mouth, raisins and berries.

Finish: Long, complex with a nutty note.

Nose : Approachable and rich. First polished wood and nuts (toasted hazelnut) dominate, then stewed fruits (baked apples), dried fruits (sweet dates), and soft brown sugar take over. Mossy too, after a while.

Palate : Sweetness and crunchy nuts impress at first, then there’s a smooth, fruity Speyside richness to enjoy. Firm, with a balancing sweetness. Brown sugar and espresso coffee. Warming and pleasant.

Finish : Medium to long, elegantly drying and crisp, completed by a pleasant, sweetly nutty chew-ability.
