This bottling is dedicated to the Swiss physician, naturalist, humanist, polyhistorian and encyclopedist Conrad Gessner (1516-1565). In his book 'The History of Four Foot Beats and Serpents', Gessner described and drew the mythical animal Seawolf on page 580. The distillery's current logo is taken from Conrad Gessner's notes. Nose: Smooth and soft. Orange cream cake, a hint of vanilla, light slivered almond note and a slight green note. A drop of water enhances the waxy note.
Mouth: Creamy, sweet, note of Seville orange peel before drying out, a little peppery spiciness. A drop of water softens the taste and reduces acidity, but does not alter the overall profile.
