Nose: Fresh, sweet fruitiness of lemon zest and white grape, exotic (pink grapefruit and ripe mango). A particularly spicy, woody note hovers above. A drop of water dries out these aromas and introduces a pinch of white pepper.
Taste: Creamy, full texture with a sweet flavor. Fruity and malty behind that homemade rum caramel, exotic notes of spicy pineapple and green banana, made even more palatable by spicy, dry oak.
Nose: Bunnahabhain Equinox & Solstice 11 Year Old reveals subtle aromas of peat, dried fruit and honey. Feel: On the palate, there are notes of cereal, vanilla and ripe fruit, with a light iodine touch characteristic of Islay whiskies. Finish: The finish is long and warm, giving way to woody and spicy nuances, for a tasting full of character.
Nose: Rich, with classic Arran apple notes. Lots of orange peel, tart citrus and sweet oak. Palate: Rich, full-bodied and unctuous. Abundant orange peel and bitter citrus. Slight hints of vanilla brioche and dark chocolate. Finish: Smooth and long. Coats the mouth. Again, lots of citrus, more oaky with age, with a subtle touch of dark chocolate and black cherries.
