Loch Lomond 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured in the finest oak casks chosen by Tommy Wallace, our master cooper at the time. Time and nature have brought out the softer character of the wood with a subtle characteristic touch of peat and smoke ensuring a well-balanced finish.
Nose: Royal Brackla Hart 12 Year Old reveals notes of ripe fruit, honey and vanilla, with a subtle hint of smoky oak. Feel: On the palate, this single malt is distinguished by its roundness and smoothness, offering flavors of caramel, dried fruit and spice. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of candied fruit and toasted cereal.
Nose : An intriguing opening of sea spray and orchard fruits, enveloped by Octomore’s delicate peat smoke. Fine florals of dried heather and camomile emerge, followed by subtle vanilla bean and toasted almond. Cedar, smoked paprika and iodine add complex savoury notes.
Palate : Immediate, yet gentle, peat smoke followed by salted caramel, honeyed melon and apricot. Sweet malt sugars intermingle with cinnamon and star anise. Sea salt, toffee, chocolate and coconut follow, accompanied by a soft wave of earthy minerality and lingering smoke.
Finish : The finish is long and lingering, with the signature peat smoke taking centre stage. Black pepper and toffee intertwine with sea salt, creating a complex and satisfying conclusion.

This 17-year-old single malt is truly unusual. For the first time, it has been aged exclusively in American oak Hogshead casks. This gives it a spring-like, fruity, honeyed and sweet character.
