Nose: Smoky vanilla, caramel and sweet toffee flavors enhanced by peat smoke, coconut and slivered almonds. The earthy smoke harmonizes beautifully with notes of citrus, lemon meringue pie and succulent grilled meat.
Mouth: Citrus, smoke and obvious minerality followed by a burnt oak flavor. Toffee, vanilla, earthy smoke and fruity notes of pear, gooseberry and green apple. Roasted coffee, a hint of clove, nutmeg and heather honey.
Finish: Butterscotch, vanilla and earthy peat smoke typical of Octomore with salty sea spray, burnt heather and broom flowers.
Nose: Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Infinita The reveals notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and toffee, accompanied by a subtle woody touch. Feel: On the palate, this single malt reveals flavors of tropical fruit, sweet spices and honey, for a balanced and elegant taste experience. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving notes of cocoa, dried fruit and toasted oak on the palate, for a deliciously lingering conclusion.
Nose: Burnt honey, barley sugar candies, very rich and intriguing. Maraschino cherries burning on a campfire, or red apple peel alongside rich cigar smoke.
Mouth: Malty, rich with an intensity of dark red berries. Genuine notes of cherry and cranberry with a touch of spice.
Finish: More spice, but with a salty sea note right at the end… truly refreshing.
Nose: Introducing itself with a balanced blast of smoke, brine, and sweet oak spice; this batch strength expression of Sound of Sleat has subtle tones of fragrant tobacco, orange barley sugar and touches of apricot and seaweed behind the peat reek.
Palate: A big but elegant whisky: zesty oak spice, bonfire embers and a waxy mouthfeel combine with hints of sweet vanilla, white pepper and a little whiff of oriental smoke.
Finish: Long and elegant with a youthful fiery spirit kick; the lingering well-knit structure comes through in abundance to give spice, capsicum and more than a little coastal nod that leaves you in no two minds of its island origins.
Nose : Creamy with soft vanilla, gently stewed apples, and custard-like sweetness.
Palate : Buttery notes and fatty textures deliver tropical fruit, ripe apple, fresh oak, and a creamy, dessert-like quality.
Finish : Pastry, cereal notes, warming spice and a bright snap of tart green apple.
