Nose: Burnt honey, barley sugar candies, very rich and intriguing. Maraschino cherries burning on a campfire, or red apple peel alongside rich cigar smoke.
Mouth: Malty, rich with an intensity of dark red berries. Genuine notes of cherry and cranberry with a touch of spice.
Finish: More spice, but with a salty sea note right at the end… truly refreshing.
Distilled at the Inchgower distillery in Speyside, this release has been bottled by independent bottler Global Whisky as part of their OLO range. This expression was distilled in 2011 and laid down to mature for over a decade with a period spent finishing in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez. There were just 286 bottles produced at a cask strength of 57.7% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
Nose: Oban Little Bay whisky reveals maritime and salty notes, followed by aromas of tropical fruit and honey. Mouth: On the palate, this Highland single malt reveals flavors of dried fruit, dark chocolate and sweet spices. Finish: The finish is long and warm, with subtle hints of oak and smoke.
Nose: Sweet and delicate, a little spicy and deeply exotic. Viney, suggesting white grapes and Manzanilla sherry, then becomes lush, floral and fruity. A hint of vanilla caramel gradually appears. A drop of water lifts the citrus notes and adds hints of sweet caramel.
Mouth: The texture is soft and creamy, the taste is slightly sweet and fruity. It then becomes more lively, with acidity and spicy, peppery, drying tannins. A drop of water initially brings out the fruitiness without diminishing the spice.
Finish: Medium to long, finishing on a dry, tongue-tingling, warmly spicy note with fruity acidity and a pinch of white pepper.

Feel: On the palate, this whisky offers notes of cereal, vanilla and smoke, with a smooth, creamy texture. Finish: Rock Island's finish is long and enveloping, leaving saline and peppery flavors on the palate.

Finish: The finish is long and lingering, marked by notes of pepper, candied fruit and vanilla, leaving a warm mouthfeel.
