Blended in small batches, this rum has been aged in three types of cask: Ex-Bourbon, ex-American whisky and Cognac. It is column and pot still distilled.
Nose: Bacardi 151 releases intense aromas of sugarcane, tropical fruit and vanilla, with a hint of toasted oak. Palate: On the palate, this spirit reveals notes of caramel, flambéed banana and black pepper, offering a warm, spicy sensation. Finish: The finish is long and powerful, giving way to nuances of licorice, roasted coffee and burnt wood, for an intense, complex tasting.
Nose: Deep, balsamic, with notes of camphor, rich in esters. Cane sugar and fermented, vinous notes.
Mouth: Identical to the nose, but with notes of resin, pine needles, black pepper. Sweet in the background, but the overall impression is dry and spicy.
Finish: Warm, peppery, lively. The spicy note typical of Jamaican rum lingers long on the tongue.
