Blended in small batches, this rum has been aged in three types of cask: Ex-Bourbon, ex-American whisky and Cognac. It is column and pot still distilled.
Nose: Licorice, orange zest, coconut, papaya, eucalyptus and a touch of mint, a hint of sweet-and-sour balsamic reduction, black tea and Christmas spices.
Taste: Oily notes of eucalyptus, mint, yellow citrus notes, bitterness of licorice and balsamic vinegar.
Finish: Long with notes of mocha and orange dark chocolate.
Nose: Full, round woody notes due to the contact time of the rum with the selected oak casks.
Mouth: Notes of undergrowth and roasting (coffee, toast) are accompanied by more pronounced spices such as nutmeg, gradually giving way to sweeter notes of cinnamon and prunes.
