Blended in small batches, this rum has been aged in three types of cask: Ex-Bourbon, ex-American whisky and Cognac. It is column and pot still distilled.
Nose: Woody notes (mushroom, dry wood) intermingle with notes of torrefaction (toasted wood) associated with barrel burning.
Mouth: Tannins and wood dominate, with notes of burnt dry wood enveloping the entire palate. Notes of nutmeg and fruit under brandy. These notes continue on the palate for remarkable length.
Nose: Full, round woody notes due to the contact time of the rum with the selected oak casks.
Mouth: Notes of undergrowth and roasting (coffee, toast) are accompanied by more pronounced spices such as nutmeg, gradually giving way to sweeter notes of cinnamon and prunes.
Nose: Engenho de Vertente reveals sweet, floral aromas, with notes of freshly pressed sugar cane. Mouth: On the palate, this rum reveals delicate flavors of tropical fruit and honey, harmoniously balanced. Finish: The finish is smooth and persistent, leaving a warm sensation on the palate.
