Cleverly created by our master whisky maker, Gregg Glass, and his team, hand-matured in hand-selected, 30-year-old ex-Bourbon American white oak and Methuselah Oloroso Sherry casks, exclusive to our Highland Distillery.
Nose: Smoky vanilla, caramel and sweet toffee flavors enhanced by peat smoke, coconut and slivered almonds. The earthy smoke harmonizes beautifully with notes of citrus, lemon meringue pie and succulent grilled meat.
Mouth: Citrus, smoke and obvious minerality followed by a burnt oak flavor. Toffee, vanilla, earthy smoke and fruity notes of pear, gooseberry and green apple. Roasted coffee, a hint of clove, nutmeg and heather honey.
Finish: Butterscotch, vanilla and earthy peat smoke typical of Octomore with salty sea spray, burnt heather and broom flowers.
Nose: Ballechin 10 Year Old reveals rich notes of vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit, with a subtle hint of smoke. Palate: On the palate, this whisky stands out for its powerful flavors of oak, honey and spices, underlined by nuances of peat and black pepper. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate and burnt wood.
Nose: Teaninich 17 yo/99 Lim.Edition 2017 is characterized by notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and toffee, with a hint of walnut and malt.
Feel: On the palate, this Highland single malt reveals flavors of honey, pear, oak and hazelnut, balanced by spicy and woody nuances.
Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving notes of dried fruit, cinnamon and toasted cereal on the palate. A complex whisky rich in character, to be enjoyed with care.
Nose: Sweet and dry. Slightly maritime, sea breeze, oyster shells, earthy and mineral with sphagnum moss. A little water develops the maritime notes and calms the spices.
Mouth: Unctuous, with a creamy texture, powerful, sweet at the start and salty in the middle, mineral and an abundance of peppery spices. A fruity touch of apple and pear.
Finish: Long with lots of spice, Sichuan pepper that intensifies with a little water.
