In the western part of the Isle of Arran lies a peat field known as Machrie Moor. This is where, according to legend, the giant Fingal tied his favorite dog, Bran, to a raised stone. Aged entirely in 1st fill Bourbon casks for 10 years and bottled without chill filtration or added coloring, this limited Arran peated single malt displays all the freshness of the island house style, with an extra whiff of smoke and earth, offering a warm whisky with a peat level of 20 ppm.
Nose: Enchanting aromas of dried fruit, chocolate and vanilla. Mouth: An explosion of fruity flavors, caramel and warm spices. Finish: A long, smooth finish, leaving delicate notes of oak and ripe fruit on the palate.
A well-balanced, lightly saline Highland single malt whisky that makes an excellent aperitif. A crisp, dry, appetizing malt that opens with fresh, sweet orange notes and a long, dry finish.
Nose: Characteristic Tullibardine bourbon notes of vanilla, caramel, cream soda, sweet nectar, and oak intertwine with layers of dried fruit and warming spice.
Palate: Balancing the indulgent nose, there’s more spices to be found of nutmeg, cinnamon and candied ginger cushioned with a hint of brown sugar.
Finish: Spice on the palate mellows, the finish is smooth and buttery.
