Single cask aged 10 years, bottled in cask strength with a 12-month finish in white wine barrels (Viognier). Outturn of 277 bottles. No coloring or chill filtering.
Nose: Johnnie Walker Double Black offers intense aromas of smoke, peat and vanilla, typical of Scotch whiskies. Feel: On the palate, there are notes of dried fruit, black pepper and dark chocolate, with a rich, velvety texture. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of peat and burnt wood on the palate.
Nose: Sweet and rich, with fruity aromas suggesting baked apple, pear and peach. These are soon joined by a rich caramel note, reminiscent of sweet butterscotch. All these aromas are mellow, round and mouth-watering.
Mouth: Firm and full-bodied, richly fruity from the start, the powerful, fresh taste soon becomes deliciously sweet and salty, with a hint of salt amid the spicy intensity.
Finish: Quite long, it finishes smoothly, dry, slightly spicy and slightly refreshing.
Ruby-red color with intense aromas of ripe red and black cherries, vanilla and spices. Fresh acidity and full body. Barbera characterized by finesse, excellent balance, great complexity and a persistent finish.
Nose: Sweet barley malt, caramel, nuts, dark berries, honey and oak notes.
Mouth: Deliciously sweet, malty, nuts, honey, mild spices and chocolate.
Finish: Soft and slightly dry on chocolate and spices.
