Having selected and vatted casks from same six years in both type of casks, Tomatin Distillery manager Graham Eunson, has created two incredible whiskies and an exceptional tasting experience.
Nose: Ardbeg Kelpie is a single malt whisky from the Islay region of Scotland, renowned for its peaty, maritime whiskies. On the nose, aromas of smoky peat, iodine and sea salt are characteristic of whiskies from this region. Feel: On the palate, this whisky is powerful and complex, with notes of smoke, licorice, pepper and dried fruit. The texture is velvety smooth, and the 46% alcohol content brings a lovely intensity to the palate. Finish: Ardbeg Kelpie's finish is long and persistent, leaving salty, smoky notes on the palate, with a hint of dark chocolate. A whisky that will delight lovers of peaty, maritime whiskies.
Nose: Woody notes, apples, pears with a touch of caramel Mouth: Dry, powerful, spicy notes with a hint of oak and fruity Sherry. Finish: Surprisingly smooth given its high alcohol content, harmonious hint of smoke .
Nose: Nc' Nean SH 11 reveals rich, complex aromas of peat, dried fruit and honey, typical of Highland whiskies.
Palate: On the palate, this single malt is balanced, with notes of malt, vanilla, pepper and red fruit, offering a silky texture and a long finish.
