Nose - Heather Honey with hints of cinnamon and toffee bonbon. Very subtle hints of peat smoke.

Palate - Creamy vanilla spice gives way to more overt smoky charcoal notes, especially with the addition of water. Smoke doesn’t dominate and is balanced by the sweet honey and spice flavours.

Finish - Full bodied, silky mouth feel with a dry, tangy and lingering aftertaste, coupled with delicious spice notes.

Nose: Sweet and delicate, a little spicy and deeply exotic. Viney, suggesting white grapes and Manzanilla sherry, then becomes lush, floral and fruity. A hint of vanilla caramel gradually appears. A drop of water lifts the citrus notes and adds hints of sweet caramel.

Mouth: The texture is soft and creamy, the taste is slightly sweet and fruity. It then becomes more lively, with acidity and spicy, peppery, drying tannins. A drop of water initially brings out the fruitiness without diminishing the spice.

Finish: Medium to long, finishing on a dry, tongue-tingling, warmly spicy note with fruity acidity and a pinch of white pepper.

Nose: Herbaceous and sweet with pronounced notes of peat.

Mouth: Complex with notes of oak and spice and earthy smoke.

Finish: Notes of burnt heather.

This 17-year-old single malt is truly unusual. For the first time, it has been aged exclusively in American oak Hogshead casks. This gives it a spring-like, fruity, honeyed and sweet character.

Nose: Sweet and malty. Fruity and honeyed like the standard version. A hint of smoke.

Mouth: Light to medium, with lots of nuances. Mild with a hint of smoke, red fruit and banana, malt and oak.

Finish: Medium to long with woody finesse and a hint of cocoa.

Nose: Oak notes, traces of citrus.

Mouth: Suave, pulpy, intense, hint of peat smoke, candied ginger.

Finish: Long for a blend, clean and woody.

Nose: Sweet, citrus, ginger, apricots, fruit salad.

Mouth: Complex, ripe fruit, caramel and wood notes, well balanced.

Finish: Powerful but a little dry.

Nose: Subtle lemon and honey, wonderfully balanced with typical Bowmore peat smoke.

Mouth: Warm and delicious with subtle chocolate and toffee flavors, soft peat smoke leading to a delicious, long and mellow finish.
