Tequila Cask Terminado



Terminado brings together Smokehead Islay single malt with tequila. It's the meeting of two restless spirits - and the awakening of a mesmerising whisky.

There, in this tequila cask finish, fiery peat awakes with wild agave. Smoke mixes with chewy meringue. And citrus spins with sweetness. You ain't tasted nothing like this before.

Nose: Glen Mhor G&M 1980/2011 reveals aromas of ripe fruit, vanilla and oak, with a hint of honey.
Feel: On the palate, this single malt offers notes of tropical fruit, caramel and sweet spices, with a subtle touch of peat.
Finish: The finish is long and lingering, leaving flavors of dried fruit and light smoke on the palate.

Sister Spirit stills enhance and refine the wonderful flavors captured during the long fermentation period, thanks to extra contact with copper. Matured in a selection of Bourbon casks, wine barrels and Sherry casks.

No coloring or chill filtering.

N: Cranberry, orange and clove liqueur mingles with molasses.

B: Richly spiced, molasses caramel, chocolate raisins, maple syrup, cinnamon and sultana grapes.

F: Persistent on Seville orange and nutmeg.

Nose : Bright with caramelised fruit and hazelnuts. Slight note of salted caramel and zesty grapefruit rind.

Palate : Full bodied, plenty of complex mouth feel. Oak forward with dark red berries and creamy vanilla. A little ginger, sweet spice and aniseed.

Finish : Sweetness, Hazelnut, Ripe figs, Mouth-watering

Nose: Juicy apple, cinnamon, woody note, violet, slightly smoky

Mouth: P amplemousse, malty, fruity, slightly smoky, slightly salty

Finish: wonderfully long and rich

Nose: Sweet Sherry aromas with underlying notes of citrus, ginger and oak, accompanied by a touch of smoke.


Mouth: Sweet at first with cracked black pepper, Seville orange and raspberry flavors, then baked apple and subtle spices.


Finish: Charred oak and sweet smoke.

Nose: Powerful and incredibly aromatic, notes of chocolate, blackcurrant, heavy notes of leather, bacon. More delicate floral aromas of violet and lavender.

Mouth: oily on the palate, releasing peppery, Espresso and dark fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, plum). A hint of aniseed punctuates.

Finish: Long and persistent. Aromas of hot sauce, coffee and black cherries.
