The Mossburn team has specialized in blending and bottling for almost 30 years. Mossburn is known for its range of Vintage Casks whisky, including its Scotch Island and Speyside blended malts.
In 2013, the Torabhaig project was launched by Mossburn and began with the renovation of the old farmhouse in the village of the same name. After four years of restoration and modernization, Torabhaig has been a fully operational malt distillery since January 2017.

Nose: Sweet fruit and a hint of spice Palate: Bold tones of berries and deep honeyed sweetness wrap around rich notes of figs, plums and maraschino cherries. Finish: Smooth sweetness from wine and bourbon casks with a lingering delicate smokiness.
Nose: Sweet with notes of milk chocolate and lemon, smoked tea, maritime aromas, soot. With water, becomes extremely fruity with a trace of red fruit jam and its smoky side coming through strongly.
Taste: Light and full-bodied texture at once, smoky then dry. Minty dark chocolate, salty. Water rounds things out and makes the taste even more powerful and succulent and sweet and spicy.
Finish: Beautiful, clean, very long with mentholated smoke.
Nose : Honeyed biscuits and creamy vanilla latte are joined by candied orange peels and sweet spice.
Palate : Candied citrus, buttery pastry, and runny honey rest upon spicy notes of toasted oak, anise, and clove.
Finish : Those woody spices linger, with clove and cinnamon bark, soft fudge, and a hint of soft smoke in the distance.
