Inspired by the spectacularly rugged coastline where the distillery is located on the Isle of Skye, the heavily peated grains used to produce the whisky give it balance, strength and sophistication to enhance the whisky's floral and fragrant character. Cnoc Na Moine is aged in Bourbon, American Oak, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks. The sherry casks in this new version give it a sweeter, richer flavor and a darker color. The name Cnoc Na Moine translates as 'Peat Hill' and is geographically located in Knoydart, visible across the Sound of Sleat from the distillery.
