Douglas Laing bottled up this single malt from Miltonduff to join its independent Provenance collection. Distilled in March 2016, the whisky matured in a refill hogshead for eight years, yielding 385 bottles when it was opened in September 2024.
Nose: Enjoy sweet notes of ripe fruit and vanilla, with a subtle hint of oak. Mouth: Savor intense flavors of caramel, pear and spice, balanced by a touch of honey. Finish: Enjoy a long, warm finish, leaving lingering notes of dried fruit and wood on the palate.
Nose: Aromas of allspice, praline and orange, in harmony with deep notes of Sherry Oloroso.
Mouth: Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger. Bitter notes of dark chocolate, enriched by lingering Sherry and oak notes. Full-bodied and creamy.
Finish: robust and long, with bittersweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak.
