This single malt was distilled at Auchentoshan in 2013 and matured in a refill barrel for the next dozen years. The cask was opened by independent bottler Douglas Laing, releasing 263 cask strength bottles for the Old Particular collection. With layers of honeycomb, toffee, and barley, backed by ripe orchard fruits and zesty citrus, it's a glorious Lowland dram.

This 17-year-old single malt is truly unusual. For the first time, it has been aged exclusively in American oak Hogshead casks. This gives it a spring-like, fruity, honeyed and sweet character.
