The Tobermory distillery produces two single malts, alternating over a six-month period: the unpeated 'Tobermory' and the heavily peated 'Ledaig'. Different barley varieties are used to make the two whiskies, but they are then distilled in the same stills. Ledaig single malts are sweet, smoky whiskies, known for their strong personality, made exclusively with strongly peated malt - the result is an exquisite whisky with delicious marine flavors.
