Jim Beam Double Oak is first aged in newly charred American white oak barrels. Then we pour it into another freshly charred white oak barrel for a second maturation. The additional interaction with the oak results in a liquid with an intense flavor and a smooth taste.
Nose: Westland Peated reveals intense notes of peat, smoke and ripe fruit. Mouth: On the palate, this whisky reveals complex flavors of vanilla, caramel and toasted cereals. Finish: The finish is long and warm, giving way to woody and spicy notes.
