A Barbaresco with exceptional balance between tannin and acidity, strong character and solid structure. Delicate aromas of plum and ripe fruit make Starderi extremely enjoyable in its youth, though it expresses its full potential after a few years' bottle ageing.

Deep purple-black purplish in color, it has a nose of blackberry and blueberry, with oriental scents of pepper, cinnamon, laurel and clove, very dense and concentrated. On the palate, the tannins are silky, caressing and sensual, but with a certain virility and good length on ripe fruit.
