Nose: Herbaceous, sweet and fragrant. Subtle notes of smoke, lemon, linseed oil and candied walnuts follow. A little water and the perfume intensifies, releasing heather honey, a touch of creosote and a tiny trace of tent cloth.

Mouth: Beautiful sparkling texture with real effervescence on the tongue. Initially intensely sweet, it evolves towards anise, caramel, cookies, peppermint, menthol, tar and coffee.

Finish: On soot and tar with a taste of cough drops, bitter oranges and fine tannins.

For Ardbeg, 2000 was a year to remember. Bill and the whisky creation team worked their magic on this rare stock. Ardbeg Vintage Y2K is a limited production series from the year 2000.



Combining the old and the new, it combines modern and innovative whisky production techniques while using the old Ardbeg stills.





While no two Ardbegs are alike, Vintage_Y2K liquids are a true smoky anomaly, a story that can never be replicated.
