Nose: Rich and warm, light wood smoke, honey, leather. Notes of green apple, vanilla and a hint of burnt toffee.
Mouth: Freshly ground spices and sweet vanilla balance notes of smoke and peat fire. Coastal flavors, distinctly salty, sweet notes, together reminiscent of salted caramel.
Terminado brings together Smokehead Islay single malt with tequila. It's the meeting of two restless spirits - and the awakening of a mesmerising whisky.
There, in this tequila cask finish, fiery peat awakes with wild agave. Smoke mixes with chewy meringue. And citrus spins with sweetness. You ain't tasted nothing like this before.
Nose: Notes of subtly spiced cereals, mango, papaya and pea pods. Traces of hard toffee and light oak chips. A drop of water reveals notes of cinnamon brioche and salted caramel.
Mouth: Silky and fluid with an intense taste of sweet butterscotch, a spicy-dry and woody intensity. The addition of water softens the honeyed sweetness of the creamy, smooth Swiss milk chocolate, with just a hint of salt in the mid-palate. The mild spices now keep the sweetness in check.
Finish: Short and rather intense, with spicy chili pepper notes.
Nose: Very distinctively oily, with touches of extra virgin olive oil, sweet briar wood, aromatic herbs (coriander & sage) and a suggestion of smoked lemon peel. A splash of water releases more oiliness, like linseed oil, a gentle waxiness, and a burst of perfumed, aromatic carbolic soap, and finally, a whiff of crème brulee. Mouth: A soft, oily, mouthcoating texture leads into a rich, sweet, smoky palate, with hints of oak moss, treacle, aniseed lozenges and a lovely, sweet, woody/balsamic flavour. This is then followed by smoked apricots and eucalyptus oil. Finish: Finally comes a lingering, sweet/smoky aftertaste, with a touch of cumin, cardamon and the merest hint of coconut.
Nose: Tamdhu bt.8 Cask Strenght reveals rich, intense aromas of ripe fruit, honey, vanilla and spicy notes. Feel: On the palate, this single malt offers an explosion of complex, balanced flavors, with notes of dried fruit, toasty oak, caramel and cinnamon. Finish: The finish is long and warm, leaving lingering notes of candied fruit and dark chocolate.
A well-balanced, lightly saline Highland single malt whisky that makes an excellent aperitif. A crisp, dry, appetizing malt that opens with fresh, sweet orange notes and a long, dry finish.
Nose - Heather Honey with hints of cinnamon and toffee bonbon. Very subtle hints of peat smoke.
Palate - Creamy vanilla spice gives way to more overt smoky charcoal notes, especially with the addition of water. Smoke doesn’t dominate and is balanced by the sweet honey and spice flavours.
Finish - Full bodied, silky mouth feel with a dry, tangy and lingering aftertaste, coupled with delicious spice notes.
